Went out with Alejandro (@47nite) to see the David Bowie photo show...

...at the very tiny Santa Monica Art Museum!

It was just so fun. I wore my 'let's dance' David Bowie shirt (though no one commented on it- that didn't bother me any of course, it was just wearing it for the fun of it).

Christine de Grancey was a wonderful photographer (imho). She took David Bowie, Brian Eno, and a third artist/musician to the former site of a psychiatric hospital in Austria (which had obviously housed many types of people in its day). It put Mr. Bowie in mind of his half-brother. There was obviously also some Bowie-related art and then we moved into another small room where there was lovely photography (some of it didn't even strike me as photography honestly) and then some crazy steampunk-esque contraptions like so:

And finally there was a 'creature feature' I can't help but want to call it! XD; Big full-sized characters of Frankenstein, a werewolf, the bride of Frankenstein, and, of course, classic Nosferatu. They were airing the very old movie version (copy-right's probably expired) of Nosferatu on a screen in the back.

I intended on buying just one David Bowie postcard, but they gave me two. <3
