Post-deadline pinch hits
Hi everyone, now that the deadline has passed, we have several more pinch hits! To claim the pinch hit, either reply to this post with the number of the pinch hit you want and your AO3 username, or send me a message on Discord (chacusha#4353). This has been my favourite Star Trek series for over 25 years. The incredible depth and complexity of all the cultures and relationships that are built up over the course of the series is incredible. There's a lot that isn't fleshed out about a lot of the cultures, and I'd love to see any of those expanded upon in any direction your heart takes you.
I like canon-compliant works that center on a relationship developing or changing. I enjoy smut of a variety of flavours, and I like uncertainty and going outside of comfort zones, especially first times. Also very into oblivious people struggling to figure out their emotions.
Everything about Odo and Quark is perfect - The bickering! The constantly keeping an eye on each other! The tension! The begrudging hard-won trust! If you are up for slow-ish burn I'd love to see them gradually opening up to each other, and if you're up for NSFW there's so much delightful potential for shapeshifting and wacky alien anatomy (please feel welcome to get weird with what sex and pleasure look like to each of them).
Prompts if you'd like inspiration: Odo having to get Quark's expertise on a case he's trying to solve and the two of them reluctantly working together would be amazing. All casefic tropes are very welcome - "We have to pose as a couple"; trusting each other with lockpicking/safecracking/other high-stakes maneuvers; one person's bluff failing and the other rescuing them with a far more convincing act; hiding together in an enclosed space.
A few favourite tropes and kinks:
- sharing a bed, roommates, fake dating, other forced intimacy
- bets and wagers
- an inciting incident revealing someone's feelings (overhearing, mistaken identity, misdirected dick pic)
- wet and messy
- rimming, assplay, ass worship, anal sex of basically any kind
- coming too fast, premature ejaculation, multiple orgasms
- clothing kink: sex while fully dressed, tight clothing that rides up, pulling clothing out of the way for sex without getting undressed

Idea 1: I had an idea a while ago where either Odo cheats on Kira with Quark, or Quark cheats on Pel with Odo, or Quark cheats on Odo with Mirror Odo. Basically, one of them gets caught with someone that looks like theyre cheating, or they outright go through with it and have to deal with the fall out. (Never seen a fic where they deal with broken monogamy.)
It could be written from anyones point of view, including a third party looking in form the sidelines.
Second idea: I had a dream where for some reason, Quark was holding a kinky convention on the station (probably to make Odo uncomfortable) and the whole station was in uproar about how to feel about it. There was a pannel with a few porn stars and lots of stalls and meet and greets, but its all sexual.
Third idea: Role playing, where they both pick a different race and try to seduce each other. Playful and cute. Maybe Odo is a Vulcan and Quark is trying to be a Klingon or something ridiculous.
If you've ever read my stuff, you know I don't like depth on characters thoughts and feelings. No need to analyse the character because their actions speak for themsleves. I prefer plot and context to support the porn part, but the whole scene isn't even nessisary if the scene is set up right.
I have no DNW's. Do what ya want.
