Quark/Odo fan community

Hi everyone! Day 2 of reveals -- in addition to the works revealed yesterday, we have four works today: 3 fics over 4k words and a surprise art!

• [Art] handsy by shinebrightlikeanimon for neptuneflytrap. Some dreamy romantic art featuring intertwined arms and staring into each other's eyes.


• An Innocent Man (Guilty as Charged) by jazzypizzaz for cool_ha_ha. The first chapter in an alternate first meeting AU, where Quark and Odo meet as cellmates in the same Cardassian prison. Enjoy this first installment!


• Warship Mine by spacedogfromspace for Cakedoom. An action-packed story where it's up to Quark to rescue Odo from a band of rogue Jem'Hadar.


• A Memorable Misunderstanding by colorcoded for cool_ha_ha. Another alternate first meeting: Odo and Quark first meet at a party and accidentally almost sleep together, then meet again years later on Terok Nor.

Tomorrow will feature one last longfic, plus late gifts.

If your work got revealed today, note that now would be a good time to redate it so that it doesn't show up several pages back in the DS9 tag. To redate, edit your work, go down to the "Associations" section, check the "Set a different publication date" box, and then put in today's date. The listings may take a few minutes to update.

Also, just a note that I will be postponing the Quodo in Every Episode discussion again -- still swamped with modding and I have a cold, so it's not happening this weekend. We'll pick it up next week!

Hi everyone! This is just to say that I've decided to push the collection opening date back a week for Quodo Mini-fest. It's a busy time, at least for me, and I hope this makes it easier for people to make some gifts.

Second, I will also be pushing the Quodo in Every Episode schedule back a week to help me focus on the modding tasks needed for Quodo Mini-fest. So the current discussion (6x24 "Time's Orphan") will continue into next week. A new discussion will be posted Sunday 23 February.

Finally, this year we've gotten quite a few longer fics for Quodo Mini-fest, so I will be staggering the reveals of works. Art and short fic will be revealed on Friday 21 February, and then longer fics will be revealed on subsequent day(s).

We currently have two unclaimed pinch hits for Quodo Mini-fest.

Annnd assignments are now out for Quodo Mini-fest! However, just a heads up that I accidentally sent out the wrong assignments initially (I forgot to save my custom assignments before sending...). So if you received two emails, please ignore the earlier one! I apologize for the confusion.

The main changes this year is that I might choose to stagger work reveals if we get a significant number of longer works, and that I have explicitly specified that AI-generated works are not allowed for this event.
