Post-deadline pinch hits
Hi everyone, now that the deadline has passed, we've got three pinch hits! I really really like comedy with these two. I love stuff in Star Trek fanfic that focuses on alien cultural practices, especially in a fic like this one where they're from two very different cultures. Worldbuilding is a lot of fun too. I'm big into the headcanon that Quodo has been secretly married (maybe it's a practical/common-law marriage?) all along, so any fic that leans into that, wonderful. Anything that deals with them being reluctant to acknowledge the feelings they have for each other, or how good they'd be together, especially if it involves other characters trying to nudge them together... beautiful, *chef's kiss* :)
For a more specific prompt: I love soulmate AUs, and I could see it being used for great comedy with these two, where they initially aren't huge fans of it but gradually grow to realize that yes, they totally are soulmates.
I also love stuff where everyone thinks they're together before they are!
I'm a big fan of Lwaxana and any of Quark's family members, especially Rom or Ishka, as background characters. Any of them playing matchmaker for Quodo -- also very good, shoot it into my veins.
I also ship Garashir and Kira/Jadzia and Kira/Damar, so I'm very happy with any of those as background ships. Rom/Leeta, Sisko/Kasidy, Sisko/Jadzia, Jadzia/Lenara, Ezri/Lenara, Kira/Natima Lang, Jake/Ziyal or Jake/Nog are also cool and good for that, but anything goes that doesn't violate the DNW list.
I generally would like to keep things fairly light-hearted with these two, and not smutty (hence why I only requested SFW), but within those parameters, I'm up for whatever!
