Quodo in Every Episode: writing break week!

Hi everyone! This week we have something a bit different -- our first mid-season writing break. No new episode this week; instead, this is a chance to get some writing done on a QIEE fic. Or get caught up on episodes if you're behind.

How are people doing? I feel like we went at a kind of breakneck pace for the first half of season 1. I was planning on switching to breaks every eight episodes starting from season 2, but now I'm wondering if even that is a bit too long without breaks, so maybe I'll switch to having a writing break every 5 weeks/episodes? What do people think?

Anyway, feel free to chat about what you're working on. You can work on a fic for any episode, or focus on the episodes we've discussed so far, episodes 1x01-1x10 (you can check here for coverage of those episodes and links to each of their discussions). If you'd like to get a selection of random unficced episodes to try your hand at, you can sign up for a writing challenge here. Ahh, I got a bit Stuck and haven't been able to start my rewatch. T_T I'm hoping to get to it soon and catch up with the discussions, I think I just need to get over my desire to set my website up for liveblogging first and just jump in hah. Good luck to everyone writing!

Oh dear, yeah, to be honest, I too have been meaning to do stuff with my website, and it hasn't been going for months! These things always take so long. ToT Maybe you could try cutting corners and finding the most low-effort way to set up some kind of liveblogging system, like using another blogging system like Blogspot/Wordpress/Tumblr, just temporarily, and move the content over to your personal site later, or typing up your thoughts into text files on your site, and then cleaning them up into a blog/HTML system later. Or yeah, just watch first and figure out the liveblogging system sometime later! Whatever you try, good luck!

I'll be trying some writing this week, so hopefully I'll have something to show for it at the end!

Yeah, I think I probably should... I was thinking of using Joplin, since I already do for other stuff, and it has a timestamp button so I can maintain that! Just gonna have to transfer it later. Maybe I could automate it somehow, hmmmm.
