chacushaThis week we're discussing... episode 1x17 "The Forsaken"!
Episode synopsis: DS9's first Lwaxana episode! When several ambassadors visit the station, Odo is stuck dealing with the amorous attentions of one Lwaxana Troi while Bashir is stuck babysitting the rest. Meanwhile, the station starts experiencing odd malfunctions after downloading data from a probe into their computer.
What The Boys are up to in this episode: This episode centers around Odo, revealing key details of his backstory for the first time. He's stuck in a turbolift with Lwaxana and eventually shows her his true form. Quark appears in the beginning scene where he is suspected of stealing Lwaxana's brooch (and Odo sticks up for him XD), and then is later mentioned by Lwaxana as having reserved a holosuite for her and Odo and preparing a "special picnic basket" for the two of them.
