Quark/Odo fan community

Sorry for all the posts and activities here recently, but in addition to the Quodo in Every Episode event constantly going on in the background, I am also once again going to run a summer Quodo event with a timeline of around mid-April to the end of August. Like last year, please help me pick which event you'd like me to run!

With 5 votes for the ship week (3 on Tumblr, 2 on DW) and 8 votes for the WIP-finishing event (7 on Tumblr, 1 on DW), we are doing the WIP-finishing/motivation event this summer! So welcome to Quo-do the Thing! -- an event to finish your Quodo WIP(s)! :D

The purpose of this event is to provide encouragement, support, and a deadline for finishing up either a Quodo work you're already working on or something you'd like to start. I've tried to design the event to be as helpful as possible for motivating people to finish or make as much progress as possible on their WIPs. However, I have so far largely structured this based on what I would personally find helpful having participated in similar events in the past. If you have suggestions about changes to the timeline/structure/process that would make the event more helpful to you, I would love to hear them!

April 1: Sign-ups open
June 1-7: Optional check-in #1
July 1-7: Optional check-in #2
August 1-7: Last check-in/promo post date-claiming
August ~8: Posting schedule published
August 10-24: Scheduled posting dates
August 25-31: Amnesty week/free posting
November 30: Final wrap-up/celebration and masterlist

Hi everyone! weaverofwords is running a summer-themed Quodo event over June and July (I'm helping!). The event is open to all fanwork types, and it is hosted entirely on AO3, although I'm running an optional contest-and-prizes aspect on DeviantArt.

Schedule:
- June: Countdown to the AO3 collection opening for posting on July 1. Feel free to start working or get inspired by suggestions dropped on Tumblr and Twitter until July.
- July 1-31: AO3 collection open for posting and reading.
- August: Voting on the DeviantArt Quark-x-Odo group Dreamwidth until August 15 12.
